File Cabinet Pro version 7.5 has been released for macOS.

What’s New?

-Added a new Service named “Add to File Cabinet Pro Favorites.” You can use this Service to add directories to your Favorites list from other apps via the Services menu.

-You can now add directories to the Favorites section in the sidebar by selecting directories in File Cabinet Pro and using the Control+Command+T keyboard shortcut.

-Fixed bug that caused the sidebar window to not properly grow in height when the main window is enlarged.

File Cabinet Pro version 7.3.5 is out today. This update fixes a minor bug on macOS Catalina that sometimes caused File Cabinet Pro’s popover window to steal focus from a document window when icons were added or removed from the Dock.

Below are the release notes for updates 7.3.2 through 7.3.4 for those who missed any of the recent File Cabinet Pro updates.

7.3.4:
-Fixed minor bug in macOS that caused the move tool not to work in the image viewer on 10.14 and 10.15.

7.3.3:
-Fixed minor UI bug that sometimes caused the close button in the tab bar to disappear on mouse hover on macOS 10.15

7.3.2:
-Fixed issue that sometimes caused the document version browser to automatically close immediately after it was opened.

File Cabinet Pro version 7.3.1 has been released for macOS.

What’s New?

-macOS Catalina compatibility. On the GM seed of macOS Catalina File Cabinet Pro would crash on launch. Version 7.3.1 fixes this issue. File Cabinet Pro users should update to 7.3.1 from File Cabinet Pro’s Settings window (unless purchased from the Mac App Store) before updating their OS to 10.15 when it is released to avoid having to manually download the update.

-You can now create an audio recording and save it in the current directory you are viewing in File Cabinet Pro; you can also use this feature from the Finder Extension.

-You can now trim audio and video files using File Cabinet Pro’s built-in media player.

-Fixed issue that prevented File Cabinet Pro’s main window from closing via the Global Hotkey if the “Automatically hide and show menu bar” setting is turned on in System Preferences.

File Cabinet Pro version 7.0 has been released for macOS.

What’s New?

-You can now set a custom background color to use for directories when they are opened in Icon view.

-You can now set a custom background image to use for directories when they are opened in Icon view.

-A new “Show View Options” menu item has been added to the context menu that appears when you right-click on the background of File Cabinet Pro’s window. When you click this menu item, a popover will appear with controls that allow you to change the view options of the directory you are currently viewing. You can also bring up this popover using the Command+J keyboard shortcut.

-You can now customize the font size used in Icon, List, and Column view from the new View Options popover. Custom font sizes set from the View Options popover are saved and restored on a per directory basis.

-The pop up buttons to set a custom font size for Icon, List, and Column view in Settings are now used as the default values for new directories that have not previously been opened in File Cabinet Pro.
