File Cabinet Pro version 5.3 has been released for macOS.
What’s New?
-If text data is currently on the pasteboard you can now create a new RTF, RTFD, MD, or TXT document using the current clipboard data. To use this new feature, hold down the option key while the “New Document” submenu is showing in File Cabinet Pro’s context menu.
-Fixed issue that caused File Cabinet Pro’s window to hang off the edge of the screen if the menu bar icon was too close to the edge of the screen.

What’s New?
-The search field in the toolbar no longer has a fixed width; it will now grow up to 325 points wide when you enlarge the window or when you rearrange toolbar items, as long as there is enough room in the toolbar for it to fit.
-You can now add fixed “Space” items to the toolbar. Previously only “Flexible Space” items could be added to the toolbar.

-You can now copy the pathnames of selected files to the clipboard using the Option+Command+C keyboard shortcut. You can also perform this action from the pop up menu by selecting files and right clicking, then hold down the option key to expose the “Copy as Pathname” menu item in the pop up menu.

What’s New?
-You can now change the sort policy by clicking a column header in list view; clicking the same header multiple times in a row toggles between ascending and descending order.
-When changing the sort policy from File Cabinet Pro’s context menu, you can now choose a sort policy in descending order by holding down the option key to expose an alternate list of menu items.
-You can now optionally show a “Date Last Opened” and a “Date Created” column in list view. If you wish to show these new columns, right click on the header in list view to unhide them using the context menu.
If you have a sort policy set and the metadata of a file shown changes, File Cabinet Pro will now adjust the order of files to preserve the integrity of the current sort policy if necessary.
